Tested a second CoB, that works too.  From looking at the pad testing results I should have 4 good ones.
Tried some overclocking, Micropython boots up to around 42MHz.  That's faster than STA reckoned it should (although quite possibly some paths are not working), but also slower than the Tiny Tapeout version, which will boot at 59MHz!  Not sure if that is expected - would need to compare the STA.  Might also be partially due to the clock coming in over some jumper wires.
Also tried the VGA test peripheral, which correctly shows a 640x480 VGA test pattern.
